Thorough Health checks are recommended at least every six (6) months, as each year is approximately 3 – 4 times that of human years. Accepted ageing signs eventuate very slowly which we can observe the slow yet noticeable changes of age.
However, if a change is noticeable or uncharacteristic, such as;
Refusing to go outside
Refusing to walk up or down stairs
Inability to jump up on the couch, bench
Appearing stiff or sore
Out of breath
Reduced alertness
Change in behaviour
Decreased interaction with family
Change in sleeping habits – may sleep more
Eyes can change colour due to cataracts
Incontinence
Plaque encrusted teeth\
Receding gums
Aggressive behavior
Disorientation
Becomes easily startled
Early diagnosis of medical problems are better to treat, manage and a better outcome for all
