Natasha Taylor

Practice Owner (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (hon)Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (hon))

Dr Natasha Taylor took over the Civic Centre Veterinary Surgery in March of 2010. Prior to this she has worked extensively with wildlife and other small animals since 1993. She is a single mum of two children who loves a challenge. Natasha prides herself on exploring all the treatment options with you and ensures you and your loved ones needs are met. Dogs, cats, birds and even snakes, Natasha is happy to look at any animal that can fit through our little door.


Annie Chen

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science)

Dr Annie Chen graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2015 and recently joined Civic Centre Veterinary Surgery in January 2018. Annie moved to Australia with her family from Taiwan in 2004 and fell in love with Australia straight away, especially with the unique wildlife and the friendly culture. Annie has a particular interest in internal medicine, surgery and animal behaviour. She also has a large interest in our smaller pets including rodents and fish. Outside of her work life, Annie loves to travel, and in the last couple of years has been lucky enough to visit New Zealand and most recently Japan. When not at work Annie likes to spend her time with all her fur babies, including her border collie (Heihei), maine coon (Denny), guinea pigs (Chrissy and Layla), tropical fish and pet chickens.


Crystal Wilden

Veterinary Nurse

Crystal has been working as a veterinary nurse for over 5 years and recently started at the Civic Centre Veterinary Surgery in December 2017. Crystal enjoys all aspects of the job but has a special interest in surgical nursing and has a range of experience with both furry and feathered pets. When Crystal is not at work, you will find her at home relaxing with her animal babies. Her babies include Marley the Jack Russell cross, Winter the DSH cat, Halo the rainbow lorikeet and 3 Isa Brown chickens named Bonita, Batwoman and Brownie.


Toni Barbara

Receptionist

Toni has been working in the animal industry for many years and has a great passion for the wellbeing of our furry friends. She hopes to learn much more both through study and in the workplace. She has a Tibetan Spaniel named Marley who is 14 years old, a Persian Cross named Indiana who is 18, and a DSH named Binx who is the baby of the family at 10 years old.

Rachael McGregor

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science)

Rachael works as our casual saturday veterinarian and loves meeting all your little furry family members! She is proud mum to twin boys and her beautiful cavaliers Spencer and Jonty.
