Tonia has been at Figtree Vet Clinic for 13 years. She has a passion for animal welfare and has spent time working for Animal Charities overseas as well as for the RSPCA in Australia. Her special veterinary interestes are ophthalmology and small animal medicine. She is the proud owner of a beautiful but neurotic siamese cat Flilly.

Karen Harkin
Veterinarian
Karen graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995. She has worked in small animal practices in Sydney and in the United Kingdom since then. Karen has been at Figtree since early 2009. She is an AQIS accredited vet who is most interested in small animal medicine. Karen has a Cavalier King Charles Spanial named Henry who faithfully accompanies her to work each day at Figtree.

Natalie started at Figtree Veterinary Clinic in 2005 as a junior veterinary nurse. Since then she has become a Senior Nurse and Practice Manager. Natalie has a an ever growing menagerie at home that currently is comprised of 5 dogs, 3 cats and a Chicken named Boo.

Sam Monaghan

Coming from a farming background, Sam was always passionate about the care and welfare of animals, large and small. After working as a Graphic Designer for 20 plus years, Sam revisited her passion and after graduating in Companion Animal Services in 2007 and Veterinary Nursing in 2008, she is delighted to be part of the team of caring professionals at FVC. Sam lives locally with her husband and two very spoilt cats.
